Do This For You

There are times that I feel like I can\’t get to the goals I want, even when all my boxes are ticked .You might not even think about your body when you give it less attention and when you not give the proper care it needs. Whatever the situation your stuck in, self-love is important and it isn\’t selfish to take care of yourself.

I never thought of this but I recently started to appreciate myself for me. I even starting taking breaks from my work even when I had a deadline to submit on the same day. Most importantly I made sure that my body has had the sleep it needs as well as the nutrients it wants. It’s definitely not easy to start but once you keep a step forward you will not only want to go forward but also will never even think of taking a step back. You might not have it all in the beginning but as you start to move and even when you are stuck that does not mean that your a failure in life, it means that you are actually taking time for you and not rushing yourself to do things or trying to please a person you love.

Well now that I mention on doing thing to please the person you love, I have personally experience this by my self cause I thought it was selfish to love yourself and put yourself first even it is before the person you love. When ever I have a disagreement with my boyfriend and he used to say \”I need to time for myself cause I need to put myself and think about myself\”, I being the loving over caring girlfriend would always get offended by these words. I would always think that I love him so much and I do care for him a lot but why would he want want time to care for himself. I have to agree that I never knew about this until I started reading about self-care and self-love books and articles. Then I thought that I need to take care of myself for me and by taking care of myself I learnt a lot of things and really wanted live a healthy lifestyle. Ever since the missing piece to the puzzle of my life has been found, I am more relaxed and less stress and even have archived excellent grades in my studies.

It is never too late to to start caring of yourself, for an example having a morning or night skin care routine, getting 6-9 hours of sleep. Nothing is impossible if you do things the right way and this year I actually started to make sure that my body and mind gets what it needs in order to keep me happy, healthy and stress free.

There are many way to organise yourself and practice self-love.
