Overlooking the Royal Colombo Golf Club the restaurant has an amazing view. It is a great place to have a romantic candle light dinner date or maybe to go with your friends to enjoy and relax. The name of the restaurant do fit the ambiance as it is a world within a world as it is a place to capture an instagram worthy . The staff was very friendly and helpful from the moment we walked into the restaurant.

The beverages we had was red and white wine and one of my friends had a Ferrero rocher milk shake and even before I could capture it, she started to gulp it down since it was too delicious to wait.

As Appetizers we ordered a hot butter mushrooms and a plate of potato wedges. To start off the hot butter mushrooms were full of flavour, crispy and was so delicious that you cannot stop eating. The potato wedges were so fresh that every bite had that crisp and had a great texture as well as flavour.

The Nasi goreng was filled aromatic flavours which gave the dish a fiery twist, it came with a chicken kebab and some prawn crackers.
Grilled Chicken was served with boiled veggies, and had mashed beetroot and potato on the side with a gravy poured on top of the chicken to give flavour. This was such a colourful dish and the meat and the veggies was perfectly grilled.
Fish and chips was perfectly cooked and was so crispy that it wasn\’t raw at all.
The food was amazing and was worth the price as we had to pack take away on some of the food items we ordered.

passion fruit pavlova, Crème Brûlée, Chocolate brownie with ice cream all three of these dessert was so delicious and had a balance in all the ingredients which was perfect.
I would definitely recommend The Escape Colombo. You can either visit the restaurant physically and enjoy your meal or you can bring it to you by placing the order on Uber eats. If you have visited The Escape Colombo before, let us know what you think about it by commenting below.
