Ingredients
- Coconut Oil 0.5 Tsp
- Puffed Rice Cereal 25g (any plain cereal of your choice)
- Dark Chocolate 5g
- Maple Syrup 0.5 Tsp
- Protein Powder of your choice 1Tsp
- Natural Peanut Butter 11/2 Tsp
- Optional: Dried Fruits or Nuts, Pinch of sea salt, vanilla, any other ad-ins!
Method
1) Melt the peanut butter, protein powder, maple syrup and coconut oil
together in the microwave for short bursts until fully
combined.
2) Stir in the puffed rice and transfer into a small lined
dish, pressing down with the back of a spoon.
3) Melt the dark chocolate in a small bowl in the
microwave then spread over the puffed rice and chill in
the fridge until set.
4) I added some frozen berries to give the bar a little freshness, add Dried Fruits or Nuts, Pinch of sea salt, vanilla, any other ad-ins for greater taste .
This is actually a very useful recipe for me to grab just before a workout.
