Ingredients
- Milkmaid / Condensed milk – 510g tin
- 2/1 tin of water
- Sugar ( white or brown) – 500g
- Cardamom 5-8
- Vanilla essence – 1tsp
- Butter /Veg oil – 1tbs
- Cashews
Method
Add all the ingredients to a saucepan and cook in low fire. stirring constantly so that the mixture won\’t burn and harden.
when the mixture is sticky and is leaving the pan while mixing spread it on greased board and layer it so that when it cools down it’s easy to cut.
It would be better to use a wooden spoon to mix and a wooden board to spread. grease the board with oil or butter. to spread the mixture u can use a banana leaf heated both sides and apply oil on that.
Decorating tips – before the mixture cools down try to add chopped cashews.
