Deviled Panner Salad

Whenever you\’re making a salad remember to make it out of love. Throw in some of your favourites, ma it colourful and add a dressing.

Below is a salad I created by adding some of my favourites. It is a full vegetarian dish, meat ( prawns or chicken )can be added if needed.

  • Prep time – 15mins
  • Cooking time – 15mins
  • Serve – 1-2

Ingredients 

  • Bell pepper ( Two colours) – ½ of each depending on the size
  • Water spinach (Kang Kon ) – few or more the way you like
  • Onions – 1
  • Garlic powder – 1 ½ tsp / Garlic cloves – 3
  • Parsley – a few leaves
  • Corn kernel – ½ cup
  • Paneer Cheese  – 100g 
  • Pinch of Salt
  •  Pinch of Pepper
  • Soy sauce – 1 tsp
  • Oysters sauce – ½ tsp
  • Garlic Mayonnaise or Regular Mayonnaise ( if needed)

Method

Dice the Paneer Cheese in to pieces and deep fry it till golden brown.

Leave it aside and then start julienning the onions, garlic, bell pepper. Cut the water spinach and the parsley.

Add some butter to a pan and add the garlic, onions, and bell pepper. As it is been cooked add the water spinach, parsley, Corn kernel, and the fried paneer cheese. Let it cook for a while and then start adding the salt, pepper, soy sauce, and oyster sauce. Mix them well and start plating, after plating add mayonnaise if needed.

Also to give it a crunch any kind of fried/baked nuts can be added.
(Pistachios, Hazelnuts, Cashews, Peanuts, Walnuts)
